When wandering the streets on a Monday afternoon, you will find all museums and some stores are closed for business. Here is an itinerary to banish disappointment and fulfill high hopes for a successful day of exploring downtown Bellingham.

Once you have your picnic lunch in hand drive/bike down to Zuanich Park located at 2600 Harbor Loop. Paved walkways, playgrounds and picnic tables overlooking Squalicum Bay is the perfect setting for a picnic lunch.
